Who we are
The Vent Men is a Calgary-based furnace and duct cleaning business. We operate the website at theventmen.ca and process quote requests and contact-form messages submitted through the site. Our phone number and business hours are listed on the Contact page and in the site footer.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, the address where you want service, the package and add-ons you selected, your preferred timeframe, and details about your home (number of furnaces, whether you have an HRV, humidifier, or central vacuum, and your dryer vent location) that we use to calculate your flat-rate price.
When you submit the contact form, we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, and the message you send us.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics that track you across websites. Our site does not display a cookie banner because it does not set tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to respond to your quote request or message, schedule and perform the service you booked, communicate with you about your appointment, and keep records of the work we have done for you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any third party except the subprocessors listed below that we rely on to operate the business.
Subprocessors
We use the following third-party services to run The Vent Men. Each of them receives only the information needed for their specific function.
- Jobber (Canada) — field service management. Receives your contact and service details when you submit a quote request so we can schedule and bill the work.
- Resend (USA) — transactional email provider. Sends your confirmation email and our internal notification emails.
- Upstash (USA) — Redis database hosting. Stores our Jobber integration credentials, not your personal information.
- Vercel (USA) — website hosting.
How long we keep your information
We keep quote requests and completed-job records in Jobber for as long as needed to service you and comply with Canadian tax and business record retention obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us — see below.

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, and request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at 587-971-8368 or through the contact form on this site.
